In addition to tags and categories (see right side column), using the search box at the top right corner of the blog will help you find the information you are looking for.

You can search simply using a single keyword.

Or you can perform a slightly more advanced search using wildcards (*), quotes (“”) and operators (AND, +, -).

For example:

snps AND grapes (“AND” must be upper case) will find only instances where both words appear.

+snps -grapes will find instances where “snps” appears but “grapes” does not.

“table browser” will find instances for the exact phrase in the quotes

genom* will find any instance with a word starting with “genom” such as genomics, genome, etc.

Search Example:

If you wanted to find all the Tip of the Week screencast posts that dealt with SNPs, all you’d have to do is type in: snps AND tip AND week

You’ll then find every tip of the week ‘how-to’ we’ve done that had something to do with SNPs.

The search will look in posts, comments and pages. Your search terms will be highlighted.

Hope you find what you are looking for!
