Updated UCSC Genome Browser introduction materials

Hey folks–

You may be aware that recently the look of the UCSC Genome Browser changed quite a bit. We always wait a little while to make sure that changes are stable, because we often see in software that after a release there are still a few tweaks made. But now we are certain there’s nothing still moving, so we have updated the introductory tutorial materials.

The content is the same (except for one button that was removed in one spot, but is still available in 2 other places). But the screen shots are all new.

There’s a movie, slides, exercises, and a PDF handout of the slides. These are sponsored by the Genome Bioinformatics Group of UC Santa Cruz, and are freely available to use thanks to them.
