Ooooh: Somebody’s got a new look….UCSC Genome Browser!
Sweet! Take a peek at the shiny new look of the UCSC Genome Browser! Currently the “News” item on the landing page has a shot and some details, but have a look at a segment of the current human assembly for a better sense of it.
It also involves a few changes to the upper navigation area (for example, open the “Tools” menu to access the Table Browser now). “Get DNA” is now under the “View” menu. I’ll be updating my tutorials soon to reflect these alterations–but mostly these are cosmetic issues and the content remains solid.
