More ENCODE data releases

Wow, it’s hard to keep up! I haven’t even finished my updated ENCODE slides and I have to re-do them all…

An email came out of the mailing list last week with a whole slew of updates. I won’t go into all the details here, I’ll just give you the highlights. You can see the announcement email on the mailing list for more.

New cell lines, new antibodies–so more transcription factor binding sites, more histone modification data, and more.

Gene Annotations from ENCODE/GENCODE Version 11

Transcription Factor Binding Sites by ChIP-seq from ENCODE/HAIB (Release 2)

So have a look. If you want to learn more about the background and features of ENCODE you can see the freely available current training materials. We expect to release the new ones in the next couple of months (after I update them all :) )
