BioStar is a site for asking, answering and discussing bioinformatics questions. We are members of the community and find it very useful. Often questions and answers arise at BioStar that are germane to our readers (end users of genomics resources). Every Thursday we will be highlighting one of those questions and answers here in this thread. You can ask questions in this thread, or you can always join in at BioStar.
This week’s highlighted question:
I’m working on a PowerPoint for a meeting and I want to include some bioinformatics cartoons to help explain what I’m doing. I will present my genotyping project to lung specialist and I’m sure they don’t have any idea what is bioinformatic.
Ok–there’s not a huge amount of biology there, but the Amos Bairoch action figure is PRICELESS! Go have a look. And add some more if you have them. You know that it’s great to have a bit of humor in your classes or talks.
